Under the agreement, QuidelOrtho will gain access to several of Lifotronic’s high-throughput as well as low-to-medium throughput immunoassay analyzer platforms. Each platform is equipped with a comprehensive assay menu covering both routine and specialty tests. This collaboration is expected to add over 25 new assays to these platforms that are not currently available on QuidelOrtho's VITROS™ systems, bringing the total number of tests on the partnered platforms to more than 70.
This enriched product portfolio will enhance QuidelOrtho's competitiveness in full-menu tenders, enabling it to serve a diverse range of laboratory settings. It will meet the needs of both small laboratories seeking low-volume testing solutions and large, high-throughput laboratories that require scalable testing capabilities and extensive assay menus.
